Before joining MPA LAW, Ibonne worked in negotiations and multilateral agreements with Latin American authorities on cross-border enforcement efforts in the Office of International Affairs of the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC. Before moving to the United States, Ibonne was an attorney with INDECOPI, the Peruvian authority responsible for enforcing competition policies, investigations, and sanctioning anti-competitive practices.
Ibonne’s unique experience in cross-border negotiations with foreign authorities and legal practice in a Latin American government agency makes her an asset to her clients, especially to those facing complex international litigation issues. Ibonne is fluent in English and Spanish.
going on outdoor adventures with her husband and two boys, either going to the beach in the summer, hiking in the fall, or skiing and sledding in the winter. She also enjoys reading books in her downtime and is the leader of a Latina women's group.
