
Monica Amador is an experienced trial attorney and litigator handling complex litigation cases from inception through jury selection and trial. She has primarily focused her practice on complex and international business disputes, commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and federal regulatory cases.

Monica has successfully handled state and federal litigation, including pursuing high-stakes plaintiff cases involving fraud actions under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and violations of banking regulations and consumer protection laws. Monica has outstanding communication skills and vast expertise in cross-examination, depositions, and discovery strategies.
Before joining MPA LAW, Monica was a partner at Amador and Cellar, PL., focusing her practice on civil litigation, federal consumer protection, regulatory actions, and criminal defense. Monica is an active community member, having served as vice-chair and member of the Miami-Dade Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board and Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and routinely participates in speaking engagements, including co-authoring a CLE on the impact of the pandemic on women lawyers. Monica is fluent in English and Spanish.
